Does anyone here have very intense emotions? I do. I want so much out of everything. So many times things feel like a roller coaster ride. I know part of ptsd is being avoidant. I was stuck in that, and I'm doing my best to counter it. I used to feel emotionally numb for a while. Now it's just like my feelings are going to burst sometimes!! It's like my emotions are so big. Tell me, if you know what it's like!!

Hi literarypractice! Smile

I have bipolar 1, and I feel everything SO intensely. When I'm angry, my heart speeds up, I feel heat in the back of my head, and I usually want to hit something. When I miss someone, or if I have broken up with someone, my heart will literally hurt for days. When I'm scared or surprised, I feel as if my heart stops for a moment, and I get extremely dizzy. When I'm very happy or in love, I jump and skip around like a little kid!! I also giggle A LOT. hehe.

VERY intense emotions. I know where you're coming from.

HELL YEA! I can feel what your saying. I was stuck in that avoidant state for so long, still somewhat am, and now that I'm starting to come out of it, it feels like i'm going to die from the intensity of my own emotions.
Talking with people and having a good time seems so easy to have now, and when something sparks my fire i feel like i'm gonna lose control.
I've gotta put a leash on my self and make sure i dont lose my head.
