I am 22. I was diagnosed many years ago as "genetic disorder type male pseudohermaphrodite". I function normally as a man and feel a man, and my penis is normally developed and my testes too. However, my penis lack urethra nor any other hole. Instead, I have small cavity, more or less like female vulva, but much smaller, in the area between scrotum and anus. I pee and ejaculate through that opening. Otherwise I function like a normal man. My father has same disorder. Can you tell me more about that disease and if there is any possibility to improve it surgically. Also, I am interested if I get a son, what is a chance for him to have same disorder?

Due to the genetic nature of this disorder there is always the chance to pass this on to a son. You may want to consider genetic counseling with a genetic specialist. A urologist may be able tell you if there is any surgical procedure to bring the urethra up through the penis. A plastic surgeon may also prove to be helpful. This would be considered reconstructive surgery so a plastic reconstructive surgeon should be able to offer some input.
