Hi,
I have been confused with the PSA reading.

doctors telling me it's ok. I am only 30. Will not have postate cancer.

I just did a 6weeks antibiotic (trivilia). After 1 month finish the antibiotic.
The PSA went up by 1 point. Now it's 6.8

Wow, I am really afraid. My life is just begin with 30. Everything seem working so well except my health.

3 years ago, i hit by Bell's Palsy twice. Left and right face was not movable for few weeks. But I think this is not related.

I am sexually active for pass 3 years. Very active and naive.
I only concert on AIDS, and never think about other sickness. But I am very sure I was using condom all the time.

The only thing i am regret is being sucked and ejaculated in mouth. I only realize this is bad when an doctor told me so.

Anyone in the world, please help. rainbow

PSA tests are usually done for men from around 45 and up, I'm surprised you have had a PSA at 30.

<3.5 is the reference range for 40/50 year olds (I'll double check the exact ages tomorrow), so 6.8 is a tiny bit raised. I see men with 15 - 30 and higher still, so in comparison 6.8 is quite low.

There is some variation in the tests due to all the factors involved, a raise of 1 isn't something to be too concerned about.

Have you had any follow up tests, a biopsy?

I agree with your doctors, prostate cancer wouldn't be a concern at this point. A PSA (prostate specific antigen) result of 6.8 does not mean you have cancer.

I'm not sure how much background reading you've done, but it might help to know that prostate cancer isn't immediately life threatening, it's a little different to other cancers. Many men pass of old age without even knowing they have it.
