I have a metabolic disorder requiring me
to take Pamalor 20 mg daily. Can this harm
a fetus. I had a miscarriage at 8wks and
thought it could have been due to the
drug. But then 4 months later I had a
miscarriage at 6wks not being on the drug
for 2 months. Now I am getting sick from
not taking the Pamalor. My hub and I would
like to try to have a child . Should I
take the Pamalor? What kind of birth
defects can it cause?

What symptoms are you having not being on
the Pamelor? I was on Pamelor
approximately 2 months for
depression/anxiety. It did not help the
depression, so I stopped taking it as
well. I am still experiencing
depression/anxiety, but none of the
antidepressants/anxiety meds have worked
for me or made my symptoms worse. I do
not know anything about taking Pamelor
during pregnancy, but hopefully, it will
be out of your system soon and you will
feel better and be able to have a healthy
pregnancy. Have you talked with your
doctor about an alternative medication
that may be safe for your metabolic
disorder? I hope you get to feeling
better soon - good luck!

excelerated
metabolism,diarrhea,nausea,constant
hunger. I don't need it for depression but
it regulated my digestive system. Over the
years the doctors have tried many things
and nothihing worked. When I had me last
child 15yrs ago I suffered from post
partum depression and the dr put me on
Pamalor and Prozac. It fixed my depression
and worked great. And we discovered that
it cured all of my metabolic disorders as
well and I was able to sleep ( I have also
been an insomniac ever since I can
rember.)
