I have high levels of protine in my urine and it smells,what could it be.

High levels of proteins in urine, indicates that the kidney filters are damaged.
This is often a sign of chronic kidney disease, which may result from uncontrolled diabetes (high levels of blood sugar), hypertension or high blood pressure or due to kidney inflammatory disease.
Urine that smells kind of sweetish is a sign of uncontrolled diabetes.
