After switching pills, how long should you wait before having sex?
Are you fully protected during your placebo week?
Also, are you protected even the first day of starting a new pack after the placebo week?

I'm surprised that you didn't discuss this with your doctor when you changed prescriptions. But since you didn't...
It all depends on the brand you're using. There should be an information pamphlet included with the product or you can look up the information on the manufacturer's website.
