So I had sex for the first time on the 22nd of June and he used a condom. We did it again the next day, also protected. I don't think it broke or anything. I bled mostly in the morning a little bit especially when I went to the bathroom. I was stressed about it all for a few days (5 days after first sex and 4 after the second)and then I think on the 26th of June or so (not really sure about the date)I went and got Plan B. It was within 4-5 days of intercourse. The woman there said that she didn't think I could be pregnant or anything and that the cramps and bleeding was normal for my first time, but I got the plan B and took both pills that day at the same time (which she said I could do) and she said I could take the pills with some efficiency up to 5 days afterward.

I don't know exactly when my period is supposed to come (and I know I should have counted more) but it's been 24 days into my cycle and I'm once again really worried that I could have gotten pregnant although I was protected. I'm feeling a little sore in the chest region but I don't know if that's just because maybe I'm getting my period soon or because I went for a run this morning.

I know this sounds really paranoid but I want to maybe know what my chances are? I really don't want to be pregnant because I'm only 21. I'm not on the pill yet but I have an appointment for next week to get it. Should I be worried?

I don't know why the woman would give you Plan B so late after having sex. Everything I have read says it is only good up to 72 hours after sex. Also, the standard way to take it is to take one pill and then take the next 24 hours later, not both of them together.

One of the side effects of plan B is breast tenderness. Keep in mind that plan B may cause your next period to be irregular/ late.

I don't think you were ever pregnant but I think it's a good idea that you have an appointment to get on the pill.
