Prostate Answer A4413
Diagnosis that has been suggested: Husband has prostatitis
Current medical status: Symptoms Improving
Current medical treatment: Cipro for 3 weeks

Prostatitis can be transmittable and can cause a UTI or genital infection if it is caused by bacteria like Chlamydia, Gonorrhea, or Trichomonas. In many cases, prostatitis is chronic and not caused by any infection.
