Hi my name is Chad. I am a 25 year old male.

I have been experiencing symptoms of an inflamed prostate for about two months now. I was put on Cipro for a month with very little / no improvement.
I've been taking Doxycycline for three weeks. I have also been taking hot sit bath's and trying to ejaculate often (as recommended by my urologist). The prostate feels mildly better, My pelvic pain however, has gotten worse.
I do lift heavy everyday at my job for the past 7 years. My family history (father) reports a lot of hernia and hemorrhoid related issues. I can't help but wounder... Is this a prostate issue, hernia or both?
What is the best way to approach my urologist about this? She (yes SHE...?) doesn't really seem to want to listen and just throws me antibiotics.
Other history: I suffer from depression and panic attacks. I take Cymbalta and Klonopin. Up until recently I also self medicated with cannabis daily for about 5-6 years. I know the proper medical field still doesn't know much about cannabis, but could this (or even my 'approved meds') have triggered/worsened my symptoms?

Thank You for reading and I hope someone can help me out there. I am getting pretty desperate at this point and am in a considerable amount of pain.

Thanks Again

Chad
