My Father aged 72 years suffering from CA Prostate since 2006.TURP & B/L Orchidectory done in Aug 2006.After Operation no treatment was given.Jun 2008 onwards on Calutide 50 mg.Now PSA risen to 5.4.Kindly help me that what are the further treatment available & required now & also tell me that how much is the risk now. I will be thaknful to you.

Unfortunately, over time, most patients with metastatic prostate cancer will become resistant to hormone-blocking medications.

You should ask your father's Oncologist if there are other treatments available that might be helpful to your father.
