I went to my doctor a few weeks ago (after 2 miscarriages) who recommended that I start chlomid in my next cycle, but that I can try this cycle using an ovulation test and prometrium after. I took the ovulation test yesterday and it appeared to be positive (showing ovulation within 24-48 hrs). I also felt a twinge of pain on my left side yesterday that COULD have been ovulation (I don't notice every month, but timing wise it makes sense).

My first question is my ovulation test came out negative today - though I would have thought it might still be positive (based on the 24-48 hrs rule) - are we too late for this month?

My second - the doctor prescribed prometrium after ovulation - as I was positive Sun, neg Mon, am I good to start on Tues (tomorrow)? It seems like I should be, but I want to be careful not to interfere in any way.

Thanks for your help. I'm pretty sure I know the answers to these, but really want to be sure I'm right / doing the right thing.
