My 3 boys and I have had sore throats now for over 2 weeks. It started when my oldest had a cold and coughing. Then the next oldest got a cold. Next, my youngest (age 15) came home from school with 101 fever and sore throat with swollen glands under the neck. The fever went away in one day but he still has extreme sore throat. I also got the sore throat, cold symptoms, and lost my voice for a week.

we are all better as far as the extreme cold symptoms, runny noses, etc. but the sore throat and swollen glands seem to continue. My concern is that we do NOT have medical insurance. To take one of us to the doctor will take the money I have for food, so I don't want to do it if it is just a viral thing and will go away on its own in awhile.

Any ideas??

Thanks so much! luvcomp
