Its been 16 days since I started my period and I've been bleeding non stop since then, I went to my OB/Gyn last Wednesday due to this problem. She prescribed ortho-tri-Cyclen Lo since this prolonged menstrual bleeding was due to an hormonal unbalance and told me to take it right away plus I am taking it as birth control too. Is it unsafe still?
