Q: prolonged diarrhea

My 2 month old daughter has had diarrhea that has lasted 2 whole weeks! we took her to her pediatrian 2 days ago (today is (jan 13th) and they gave us a tube to put sum of it in and send it to the lab at a nearby hospittle. Today she has had about 10-15 diarrhea diapers and they keep coming about ever 20-25 mins. im really starting to get worried scared and not sure what to do....i don't know if this has happend to anyone else but i really am not sure what to do...if it gets much worse im gonna take her to the ER but not really sure what to do...

someone please help me out.

Are you breastfeeding or are you formula feeding or both? Is she gaining weight properly or is she not and overly fussy?

If you are giving her formula, I usually suspect milk is the culprit. Getting a non-milk based formula or one that is Sensitive or (sometimes Lactose free) can take care of the problem.

hi i would say its a milk allergy or a virus infection
