I can't remember if I've told anything about Brina's acid reflux or not on here. Anyways, since Saturday she has been having episodes of projectile vomiting. At first I thought it was her reflux, then yesterday I thought it was the stomach bug going around the daycare because she had one bout of diarrhea. Now, I just don't know. She hasn't acted like she felt bad, still wants to play, eats just fine. It's just that nothing is staying down.
She is already on prilosec once a day and is using Similac Sensitive RS which has been doing well for a while. Her spit up had decreased dramatically. I just don't understand what's going on right now.
I talked to the ped office yesterday and that told me to watch her and if she seemed more tired than usual or had blood in her stool to bring her in.
Well, this morning she projectile vomited again so I called them back. I've got to take her in today at 3. I just don't know what to do anymore. I hate reflux. I'm just glad she's such a happy baby. To have reflux, she's one of the happiest babies I've ever seen. She doesn't cry excessively or anything-just spits up a lot.

Luke has reflux too and whenever he needs his dosage upped he starts to projectile vomit. Do you elevate one side of her bed? That helps at night. Also, we switched to Prevacid and that made a Huuuuuge difference. Teething tends to aggravate reflux and also makes diarhea so that could explain everything.

Thanks for the comment Courtney! We were elevating her bed but she rolls all over her bed now and is never on the same end so it doesn't do much good anymore. We didn't see her regular doctor because she was out of town so the doc didn't really say anything about changing or upping her meds. He just made sure she hadn't lost weight and wasn't dehydrated. Her ears were fine and she wasn't wheezing which is good because she does periodically. She has a standing rx for albuterol solution for the nebulizer just in case we need it. She weighed 16 lbs 9 oz so that's up a pound from last month.
It is possible that she's teething but she's been trying to get a tooth since she was like 2 months old. It will go away for a little bit and then swell back up. I hope they come through soon. She's got like 4 bumps.
I personally think they need to either up her prilosec to twice a day or try her on a different medicine. I am so tired of changing both of our clothes what seems like 50 times a day. I'm sure you understand.
My isssues just seem so small to the challenges you have with Luke though. How is he doing?
