Hi, I learnt a few weeks ago I had an early stage of gingivitis. For the last three weeks, I have been brushing diligently (after every meal) and flossing at least once a day. As a result, my gums are becoming pinker which I know is a good sign. However, they are still slightly swollen, but on close inspection I am fairly sure that they are gradually coming down. I think this is thanks in part to a lot of supplements I have been taking. For example, on some days I will brush my gums with pastes made of vitamin E. On on other days, I will brush my gums with pastes made of vitamin C (non-acidic). I have also started taking 3 tablespoons of flaxseed oil a day because it has omega-3 (inflammatory actions). I was just wondering if anyone could give me advice or tips to help reduced the swelling further?

Also, for some reason, some of my front teeth started making a clicking noise. That is, when I touch the back of my top front teeth with my tongue they make a slight clicking noise. This is the first time it has happened. Is this anything to worry about? I have been reading around on the net, and it has happened to some people when they floss more often.

Maybe from the slight separation that can occur when flossing...My husband also had gingivitis...I have this thread and this treatment he uses has cured it...I am inserting it in case you have any interest...
