Last Thursday I needed to have an upper tooth, I believe tooth '6' extracted. I was given two lots of local anaesthetic because I still had sensation at the back of my tooth after the first one. After waiting for 10 mins for this to kick in the Dentist tried to pull the tooth out and I experienced intense pain in the root area of the tooth with full feeling in the root region. This is not the first tooth I have had out in fact the tooth next to this one was taken out a few years ago without any problems. I go tomorrow lunchtime for the Dentist to try again and I can tell you I am terrified, something I have never felt before after many years of regularly having my teeth checked out.
Does this Dentist seem ok to you, should I try someone else, the problem is I have toothache which I am controlling with Neurofen but really need to get this tooth sorted but not by having such an awful time as I had last Thursday.
I would be grateful for your opinion as soon as you can please.
Regards
Toothache
