Hi
I have been trying for a baby for over 2 years now, and 29yrs old been married for 3 years. I have been to my doctor and he has taken blood tests, the blood results showed a hormone to be really high indicating pregnancy but im NOT ! My doctor made a referal to the hospital. I have now been in a few times for other tests one was an ultrasound which showed my overies to be good at 7 If this makes sence?. This also showed folic activity but i am unsure what this means, and i forgot to ask since i was so happy that my overies were ok. Can someone tell me what this means please? I have also had a mri scan and i havent yet had results of that, The doctor and Hospital think its my brain that is stopping me getting pregnant, Is this easliy solved??
I was due my period over a week ago now and im always regular. I do not want to take a test incase of disapointment, how long should i leave it to test or should i not bother could it just be this hormone thats stopping them?

Kind regards
Ainney

Hi LMcd,

Sounds like you are so intense on getting pregnant that you are stressing yourself out over it. Relax enjoy the process of trying to get pregnant and nature will take its course. Having take all the necessary precaution of testing and having them come back ok is a very good sign. Now you need to treat your body as though you are pregnant by eating healthy, exercising, taking 1,000 miligrams of vitamin D and prenatal vitamins, start now building your body up for the new little bundle of joy you will soon have inside of you. If you like, have your partner go for testing to see if his sperm count is low, sometimes this prolong the process as well.

I have heard many stories of women doing things to conceive, one was to raise both leggs high in the air immediately after intercourse so that every drop of sperm possible would stay in...hey sometimes you have to go outside the box and try different things. Relax, be patient and enjoy the experience. It will come.

Best of Luck to you, let us know how it goes.
