Q: price of pregnancy test & accuracy

On oct18 my period showed her face but only lasted 2 days when she normally stays a week. i took a pregnancy test and it was negative the test was only 2 dollars, should the price of the test matter.

No. The price of the test does not matter. A lot of things, other than pregnancy, can contribute to a shorter, lighter period.

If you still feel like pregnancy may be the issue, you should go to Planned Parenthood and get a FREE pregnancy test there. They will also discuss birth control options with you. They are low cost and free in a lot of cases - your parents never need to know that you are taking them.

Pregnancy tests measure LH surges in your body, which are triggered by pregnancy. Urine and blood tests are both looking for this. If you want confirmation for a urine test, you can request a blood test at your doctor's office.
