I am a 29 year old businessman in Kenya, I
was recently diagnosed with HBP
158/98,163/99 and lastly 154/100. I am 5.6
and 69kgs. My doctor tells me that the
main causes of HBP is hereditary,
overweight, diet and stress in that order.
I have been under medication for the last
3 weeks but there seems to be no
improvement, I am currently filling "sick"
from the drugs I m taking, my right hand
side seems to have a protruding and
tendon, right under the armpit to the "arm
muscle"
My family has no history of HBP and as
such I have no weight problem, what could
be the other causes of HBP, I have
currently reduced my stress levels to zero
but still the problem is persistent, I am
tired of drugs
Any advise, new member to the forum

Although high blood pressure usually
cannot be cured (once high blood pressure
develops, it usually lasts a lifetime), in
most cases it can be controlled.
What's the level of your physical activity
like?
Are you fallowing a healthy eating plan?
Have you cut on alcohol and smoking?
Have you been performed some examinations
and test, like blood test for thyroid
hormones, urine test, complete blood cell
count, blood chemistry profile (potassium,
sodium, creatinine, fasting glucose,
fasting lipid levels), and
electrocardiogram?
