Q: Preventing staph infection spread ?

My 83-year-old father has a staph infection the size of a grapefruit on his elbow. His doctor plans to lance and drain it on Thursday. On Sunday, a family reunion will be held at my parents' home. Two of my nieces have given birth recently, their babies being now only ten weeks old and three weeks old. Through research I've learned that staph is highly contagious and can survive on many surfaces. I am very concerned that my nieces' babies will be exposed to the bacteria. What can be done to make my parents' home safe for all?

Dutch solution of MRSA
Check out the antimicrobial coatings of Inducoat - they even have an excellent clear coating in an aerosol that you can easely spray on e.g. doorhandles. Increases your safety, and that of your baby.
