Hello
I have been running about 4 miles every day to get fit before my sport season starts in mid September. I am fit enough to manage the distance but after my run I have intense pains in my shins. It goes away after a while but if I walk up stairs it comes back again.
The answer from all the other forums is to stop running but that is not an option, so I have two questions:
1. Can the pain be minimized or prevented somehow without cutting the exercise down?
2. If I do continue to run, other than the pain, is there any serious harm I could be doing to myself?
