Preventing Paraphimosis

I am 60, going through a 3 year divorce. Slept w/ a woman a few months ago after a long period of inactivity, and ended up w/ Paraphimosis. Saw a urologist who recommended circumcision. About three weeks ago after several months of inactivity the same circumstance led to the same condition. Saw a different urologist who also recommended circumcision. After several days of sleeping w/ a woman, the condition ceased to exist. My thought is that the foreskin had lost it's elasticity, causing Paraphimosis to occur, and with repeated use, the penus / foreskin regained it's elastic properties.
