I was in a car accident on June 1st resulting in multiple fractures the largest being located in my pelvis. I fractured my acetabulum and sacrum bone both on the right side. I'm on crutches now with strict orders not to put any weight on my right leg. I'm 24 years old and led a very active lifestyle before the accident. I hope to recover fully arthritis-free, but lately I've been concerned about pain that I've been feeling when I move my right leg at the hip or bend from the waist. Should I be worried, or is this normal? Is it possible that I am moving around too much?

Did you go through physical therapy for 6 weeks after the surgery?

Recovery time for severe pelvic fractures usually takes up to 3 to 4 months.

Physical Therapy
I have been going to outpatient physical therapy for 3 weeks now and started at home therapy the week after I got out of the hospital.
