Did your water break? I think the gooey stuff could have been your mucus plug which usually falls out prior to your water breaking.

you can lose your mucous plug and continue to be pregnant for weeks. I lost mine at about 37 weeks and had my son at 41 weeks. Are the pains sharp, are they regular? are they like period cramps? is your tummy going extremely hard? are they just slightly painful and annoying? think about these so that you can describe it exactly to your lmc.
Good luck.

I don't believe its pre term labor. Firstly you wouldn't be writing this you would be at hospital if you were truly concerned. Now when you are pregnant you have more discharge then normal. As for it being greenish this may be some type of infection. When you go to your pre-natal appt this week get them to test the bacterial levels. You are only 34 weeks pregnant your baby isn't due for 6 weeks. If by 36-37 weeks your baby still hasn't turned then your obgyn will talk about trying to turn it manually or option C( (c-sect). You do need to stop worrying I know with first time pregnancy's you do stress. I have been pregnant 3 times. Everyone walks like they have a watermelon between their legs, yeah I know it sucks. As for the abdomen pain this is probably just bruising from your little darlings kicks. (I have had a rib crack from my daughter's mighty kicks). If you are going in to pre-term labor you will know. The pain is horrific, worse then slight cramps. You feel tightening and it is regular ... I suggest you look up Brax Hick's contractions. (Fake contraction's your body uses to prepare you for labor happen from 32weeks onwards does not mean labor is soon to follow.)

i never said it was greenish. and i eneded up going to the hospital. i was having contractions, but they were something called pressure contractions, they think that was when he dropped, but he dropped bum first so he is sitting right onto of my cervix and thats why i was experiencing all that, the midwives said that when a baby drops that isnt bum first they dont norm drop as far as if they are bum first thats why his resting onto of my cervix.

Hi there... I am 30 weeks pregnant with baby number 6. My last daughter was born at 32 weeks due to my waters breaking early. She is now 3 yrs old... anyway I have been suffering with heavy discharge the past couple of weeks, I had a mucus like plug loss 3 days ago and my baby is fully engaged ready, plus I have been suffering with chronic back ache and very painful Braxton Hicks. My cervix is closed still... luckily,I have been told by my midwfie and doctor to take bed, which im doing as much as I can. They want me to get to 33 weeks if possible... I hope everyones pregnancy's go well... Best of luck to u all x
