Hello today I had a pressure revision and the test came up with 135 diastolic and 105 systolic...so it appears I have hypertension...
reading around I found out my diastolic wasn't that high to have hypertension , but my systolic is... and I also read that systolic isn't that important? was just wondering. thanks for the answers.

I don't know what you read but my doctor told me the bottom number is important as well. I'm on BP medication but my doctor intends to adjust my dosage because my BP stays at approximately 135-140 over 90. The bottom number is what concerns him.

My blood pressure has recently come down from 186/115 to 135/95 with just one week on the meidcation Solatol. I am very pleased with this.

I have heard that the dialostic number is important for orgsn health, whereas the systolic number is more important as we grow older.
