I had my tubes tied three years ago. Since, whenever I have an intense vaginal orgasm during unprotected intercourse, I have bad period feeling cramps and rectal pressure for a day or two afterwards (note: I've never had small intercourse or even let anyone near that part of my body). I have a history with IBS. Any ideas why? Thanks!

Hi,
Welcome to ehealthforum.
The symptoms could be attributed to the pelvic congestion and increased blood flow to the pelvic organs at the time of orgasm/intercourse. If the symptoms have been persistent, you should consider going ahead with visiting your doctor/gynecologist for further evaluation to look for the exact underlying cause. Treatment as appropriate (based on examination findings and investigation results) would be started to help control the symptoms. Be in regular monitoring and follow-up with the treating doctor/gynecologist and report any new/abnormal symptoms immediately.
Take care.
