Q: prenatal paternity test

i've just inquired about having a prenatal paternity test. i was just wondering if anyone else has had one done. they carry a small risk as its the same procedure as the amniocentesis (or cvs where they test the placenta). its going to cost me about £900 but will be worth it as i need to know the paternity as to determine my future and options.

anyone got any advice?

Is your doctor willing to do this? Some doctors aren't since it does carry a risk and it is a much simpler swab test after the baby is born that carries no risk of death.
