Q: Premature ejaculation and the start/stop method of correction
asked by: DoctorQuestion on September 23rd, 2008
I very rarely am able tyo get an erection when on my own despite feeling sexually aroused, however when with a sexual partner this is not a problem, instead premature ejaculation occurs almost every time meaning sexual intercourse or oral sex last no longer than 2 minutes before ejaculation. I am having regular sexual intercourse or oral sex.
The combination of both of these problems is obviously very frustrating as I cannot even practice the "start/stop" method that has been suggested during masturbation and sex is not even satifactory for myself even though climax is reached.
Is there anything I can do to solve/cure these problems?

It would be a much greater problem if you were not able to get an erection in the presence of your sexual partner.

About your second problem (premature ejaculation) you could practice the “start/stop”-method together with your sexual partner. You could both try not to urge too much.
