I'm in my early 30's and have been dealing with premature ejaculation sense I was a teenager. I know I have Premature ejaculation due to hypersensitivity which was developed from over masturbating when I was very young, so I think at least. When I drink I can last a long time in bed, I think thats why I have turned to drinking so much. How can I fix being hypersensitive? Is there a surgical procedure?

Thank you for your question on ehealthforum.

Premature ejaculation is believed to be mostly due to psychological factors. Secondary premature ejaculation is caused by performance anxiety and pressure, which may require counseling and medication. But a thorough examination is needed to rule out if there are any other problems causing that.

You mentioned that drinking helps you to last a long time in bed suggest that it has a psychological basis. Certain medications which are used in depression can help in premature ejaculation. There are no surgical procedures recommended.

It is advisable to see a specialist in sexual medicine to assess the condition. Thank you
