Q: Pregnant without menstruating ?

I have been dating my boyfriend now for more than a year, I got an injection March, I went to my doctor about a month ago to ask him if it is normal for me not to have my periods yet, Hes answer was yes it is, nothing to stress about it could take as long as 2 years,now I want to know can I fall pregnant if I am not menestrating? My boyfriend and I are sexually active and the last time we did not use any protection. doctor

Yes, you can get pregnant. Use protection every time if you do not wish to get pregnant.

I would trust your doctor. It takes as long as 8 months to get rid of the depo shot once you stopped. I have heard of many woman that did not have their periods back for over a year.

I will not trust the absence of your periods as a birth control method however. At some stage you will ovulate again and you might just have sex then and get pregnant.
