About a year and half ago I was diagnosed with PCOS and put on metformin to see if that would return my periods, it didn't so I am now on birth control, marvelon along with the Metformin and have been on the Metformin for over a year now and the birth control for 6 months. My period isn't due for nearly 3 weeks but for the last 2 days I've been spotting and now I have pains in my lower abdomen. Is it possible for me to be pregnant? I have never once missed my pills, but I should also say I was lucky to have 2 children before I was diagnosed with PSOC and my Dr. said I should count myself very lucky that I had any children at all, I never had a problem getting pregnant with either of them.

u r lucky. i have been with my partner 7 years and in this time we have been trying. the pill isnt 100percent and metformin is what regulates things so i would do a test just to be sure most test can find out from 6 days after fertilisation i think. plus if ur gettin pain its allways better to check with the doc
