Q: Pregnant with negative blood test ?

I had a normal period on April 5th and had unprotected sex on April 26th. One week after having unprotected sex, I started to feel nauseous a lot of the time and began losing my appetite. Every smell bothers me. Only certain foods sound good and I can't eat some of my favorite foods anymore. I've been extremely emotional and moody, even snapping at the people closest to me which I NEVER do. At work, I often felt exhausted or dizzy or like I was going to pass out. I got my period on time (twelve days after having sex) but it was not a normal period. The first two days were normal but then it was spotting for three days instead of a normal flow for seven days. My period never changes flow or length. I have little appetite and have to force myself to eat. I'm skinny and can always tell when I lose the smallest amount but this time it doesn't look like I've lost anything, even though I've lost four pounds. I've been getting frequent headaches and have had pelvic pressure/discomfort. I have to use the restroom every hour or two, another abnormality for me. I took a blood test at the doctor that turned up negative for pregnancy and other health concerns. The test was taken over two weeks ago, on May 15th. Is it possible that I took the test too early and I could still be pregnant?

I would go back to the Doctor and have another blood test done. Stress also can do alot to your body. Do you want to be pregnant? Your mind can play tricks on you too if you really wanted a baby.
Good Luck Smile

We were not trying to conceive but if it happened, it would be great. I haven't had any more stress than the usual, which has never affected my period. Neither has my diet/weight ever affected it. I'm trying to wait till my next period is due to go back to the doctor but the waiting is awful! My cycle lasts between 23-34 days so I still have 9 possible days to go. =( Thank you so much for replying!
