Q: Pregnant with genital warts

I'll tell everyone right now
I am against surgery of any kind and chemical medications
I only believe in herbal remedies and natural healing and such

But I am nearly 14 weeks pregnant
and have gotten signs of genital warts
as far as I can see there's about 7 of them by the opening of my "private area"
they weren't there before I got pregnant
they showed up about a month ago

I was reading a few things and apparently they can cause bladder infections
which I have and am trying to treat with cranberry juice

but I need to know how I can treat these without medication that is chemical
I do not trust the side effects and the harm they could bring my baby
I'm going through enough pain carrying this child

My fiance recently found out that he had genital warts
and he and I have been "physical" for over 9 months
that is why I'm led to believe I caught it from him

but with my mistrust of doctors, I'm here seeking help
I cannot stand people touching me, especially strangers
so help?

the reason u haveng had a reply is because of ur cr*p attitude! u cant get rid of warts herbaly and if u dont get them treated it may harm ur baby, genital warts during pregnancy can cause warts to grow in the babys throat blocking it and leading to surgery. my advice is to get off ur high horse and think about your babys health n also stop offending people!

I've already looked into medication for genital warts
and there is NOTHING that I can use while pregnant
because of negative effects on the baby
otherwise I wouldn't be asking for a herbal remedy, would I?

and I am thinking about my baby's health, or I wouldn't be here!
And if people have a problem with my attitude, too bad
I'm a crabby pregnant woman, get over it

First of all I don't mean to be crude. But if you want help you need to ask for it in a manor that people will want to actually help you.

You were also rude to me in a post today telling me I was not much help when all I did was give you my best advice this forum is for ADVICE! If you wanted a doctors opinion then you should have went to see one or typed to one on this forum, its possible you know?

Also I would like to say just an hour ago you told me you didn't care much about the baby. You were more concerned for yourself and your fiances health. A lot of things in this post are VERY different you told me it was your fiance who suffered from genital warts. You said nothing about yourself having them. Which is even worse for your child. The only thing you said was you were afraid for your health and catching these horrible little warts.

If you are a responsible human being and a women at that then you should care about the baby you are growing inside of you. So should your fiance.

Yes we understand being pregnant makes you crabby, you're carrying extra weight and you have many new things happening to you. I was once there... but it is not us that have to get over it, it's you. Its all apart of pregnancy! Maybe you should think about how much of an effect you have on here telling people too bad if they don't like your attitude and not even giving and thanks for someone replying and trying there best to help... MAYBE just maybe that's why they have no interest replying to a 19 year old fuss bag.

I can handle my pregnancy my way
I I never once said I DO have genital warts I said I think i do
maybe you should read a little closer
and you're only a few years older than me
so you don't exactly have much room to be lecturing me, now do you?
no
I cam eon here asking other women that have genital warts to tell me what they look like
cuz I was told mine do not look like warts
and just look like skin tags caused by pregnancy

so again, you don't like my attitude, go away
I don't need to deal with anyone else's crap right now
I'm dealing with enough from the retarded people I live around

if you have a problem with how I'm living my life
I could care less

This would be why no one wants to answer you.

No one wants to take the time to even look because they see you are being rude.

I may only be 21 but I have been through a lot and I am very educated. Also I would like to say I come on here and respect everyone. You do not.

Wish you all the luck. Bye.

and can NOT put up with people THINKING they know what is going on with me
I don't have any money, okay?
that's not going to change
I came on here to ask of other people
not to be told to go to a doctor

Again
I don't have money to go to the doctor
and I need to know if they're even warts in the first place
which is why I'm here
I'm not going if they're harmless skin tags
and no, cranberry juice is for bladder infections, there's no such thing as a water infection

and all the medications they have for genital warts CANNOT be used on pregnant women
again that's why I'm here
but apparently none of you even know what you're talking about

It is pretty obvious to me, FallenKitty, that you want to be a victim. Stop. You are a mother at this point, start acting like one.

Walk into your nearest Department of Health and Human Services and fill out the paperwork for MEDICAID. You qualify. Then go to the doctor and stop saying you don't have enough money. It is FREE!

Oh, and a water infection IS a urinary tract infection, it is the English way to say it.

yes we english use different words, i saw my midwife today and asked her about wart cream during pregnancy and you can use it and buy it without perscription at a chemist or (drug store) if thats what u have over there not sure sorry.. and if your saying you dont want your baby then uv got to think of your options maybe adoption, atleast then the baby will have loving parents.

Sorry but no one is worth that pain
I'm tired of people telling me to give it up for adoption
not after the pain I was forced to endure

and here you can't buy anything for genital warts over the counter
you have to get a prescription from a doctor
simple as that

and there isn't Medicaid where I am
sorry to say
I've already applied for assistance and have been denied

So you are not in the United States then? Because all states have medicaid. If there isn't a free clinic near you, then you can call your doctor or a doctor and get help.

You plainly said this pregnancy was unwanted. I'm not sure what you expect from people when you continue to post untruths, irresponsible behavior (not getting yourself and your unborn baby medical attention when you obviously need it), and are volatile with the responses you do get.

If you don't like the answer, don't ask the question.

GO TO THE DOCTOR!

Oh my goodness! You need to stop whinging and listen to what these women are saying! Stop trying to get pity. How on earth do you afford the internet??? There are free clinics WORLDWIDE. So stop making lousy excuse and get off your immature a$^ and get treated. Even if they are just skin tags you need to get them checked! If they are warts you are putting a poor little defencless baby's health at risk! You say you don't want the baby ... its not your babys fault that you got pregnant to someone other than your fiancee. This child will depend on you! You need to neck up and be a mother. You are complaining about the pain you have been through? Girl you are only 14 weeks pregnant. We have all been through pain. I was in labour for 39 hours and 40 minutes. I almost died during child birth. Having a child isn't a walk in the park. But yes it is all worth it. You are being extreamly selfish to this poor child that you don't deserve to have.

FallenKitty has claws out and swinging!

I've read all the posts thus far and FallenKitty I have a question: Was this a forced pregnancy as you state it is not your fiance' and all the pain that you had to endure...

If you do not like our advise I suggest that you post a question to the Doctor and / or google genital warts pictures and you will find more than enough pictures and you can compare theirs to yours.

Do you also know that this virus, yes it is a virus, can lie dormant in a persons system for years before making its debut?

You are in control of your emotions so do not blame your crabbiness on your unborn child. You choose to be angry.

Your rant at the beginning why somebody had not responded to you...well, us 'stalkers' as you so desire to call us will read a post and if we can offer advise from personal experience or otherwise then a reply will be made. Just because it is not done on your timeframe is your issue and not ours. So if a 'stalker' chose to reply something to the effect of 'I don't know'...we're sure that you would have found something negative to say as well. Good grief woman, chill out...

Can you not get health insurance coverage from your employer? Even if you do not want to see a doctor for possible warts you do need to see a OB/GYN for the sake of your child....

As another post stated...there are free health clinics but you would probably find something wrong with that as well.

~Zig
