I am recently pregnant and am a little worried about getting the proper nutrition while pregnant. Does anyone have any suggestions to eating healthy? I've had Crohns since I was 10 and am now 30. But it only flared up 6 months ago I have been fine most of my life so this is a little new to me I'm scared to eat alot of raw vegetables and dairy and since those are main foods you need to give your baby proper nutrition I'm worried about what to eat.

Help
thanks

Research has shown that the course of pregnancy and delivery is usually not impaired in women with Crohn’s disease. Even so, women with Crohn’s disease should discuss the matter with their doctors before pregnancy. Most children born to women with Crohn’s disease are unaffected.

I would discuss this with your doctor, but eating healthy as you probably already do, is probably the best way to keep your baby healthy! Also, are you taking prenatal vitamins?

I have 40 years of personal experience treating myself for crohn's and colitis. I've also had 6 children throughout the years and am doing really well. I have a lot of suggestions for you. Let me know if you're interested.
