Q: pregnant while using IUD

Hello sir, My period was delayed and I'm using IUD, so i had a pregnancy test and it was positive, the problem is the IUD can't be removed as the cord was cut long time ago, so my question is:

what is the risk of being pregnant with the IUD inside me? and will it affect my baby? or me?

It is hard to tell the risks. Some women are actually capable of going full term with the IUD in place, no complications. You will need to speak with your doctor, who can help figure out your own personal risks/risk factors.
