Well
my girlfriend is pregnant. We want to get married, but her parents are sorta yes and no about it. We don't want to wait because they always change there mind. We want go to Georgia to get married. No consent required for pregnant teens.

Could her parents retaliate and try to file charges?

I'm 17 and she's 16.

In SOME states, pregnant teens are considered LEGAL ADULTS, so you need to find out where you stand as far as your state law is concerned.

ONCE you have a child, you ARE a legal adult.

IS she moving in with YOU, because obviously you do not want to live with her parents.

Once you are married they cannot file charges.

DO you feel you are truly ready to have a baby?

What would you say to YOUR child if she wanted a baby at 16?
