Hey, I was hoping to find my answer without having to post a new topic but it looks like no one has updated who was in the same situation as me!
Last KNOWN period: Aug 5th, Periods Always last 6 days
weight at this time was 158lbs 29" waist 34" hips
Birth control: Taking HBC pill but have missed more then a few
Aug 24th i start feeling pretty sick... Nausea, bloating, cramps, dizzy/light headed, very sore and hard nipples and moody. My husband takes me to the doctor and after 2 hours of waiting and a urine test (he tested for urinary track infection) I was told i have low blood pressure and i should go home get some rest. Unconvinced I stopped taking my pills to force a period to come. While waiting i take 3 tests all neg
Aug 29th period starts pretty brown (sorry if its TMI) but def medium flow
By the time i go to bed Aug 30th I'm barely using panty liners. I think of this as a period and try to get on with life.....

Today I weigh 164lbs 31" waist and 40" hips! I'm terribly bloated and since this whole ordeal I've been having to wear pj's and my husbands clothes. My breasts are so painful i have trouble sleeping on my stomach. They have also gotten quite large this i know because i had a breast reduction last year and my old bras almost fit!
I still get the dizzy/light headed spells and lately ive noticed no matter how much food i force myself to eat (I say force because i always feel nausea when i think about food) I still get the prickly achey feeling a few minutes later like i have not eaten all day. Took another preg test yesterday and today and still negative.

I was really hoping that other woman would have posted answers in the other forums. i keep reading about woman with similar problems but it's like they don't update. I have a doctors app on friday but im starting to worry i have something much more serious wrong with me.

Any input at all would be really really appreciated!

You could be pregnant. Sometimes the urine pregnancy tests don't tell the truth. At your doctor appointment, ask for a blood pregnancy test. The only other thing I can think of is possibly a hormonal imbalance. Hopefully your doctor can give you more information at your appointment. Keep us updated Smile
And I apologize for your question not being answered sooner Sad

Hey just updating for anyone who may come across this and is having the same problems i had.
Upon seeing my doctor he told me I had a "stomach bug". For 3 and a half weeks I had a stomach bug that didn't cause diarrhea or vomiting, made my breasts larger and more tender and caused head aches, dizziness and mood swings. He said he'd give me another pregnancy test and some other blood work just in case. Leaving the doctors office and walking to the labs. I look at the piece of paper for my tests and he had prescribed another urine.... After telling him i had taken 6 HPT's all neg one of which I did two days before seeing him. I broke into tears (which lasted for 2 hours) I went back 3 days later to have the physical he wanted me to come back told me all my tests where negative (big shock there! -.- ) and that my breast tenderness was being cause by too much fatty foods...or chocolate...or alcohol/drugs.... I'm very against drugs and alcohol. I'm allergic to chocolate and I haven't changed my diet at all to include more "fatty foods". I still have all my symptoms all though I'm not nearly as bloated. I admit I'm probably not pregnant... but i still can't belive the doctors excuses for how i'm feeling.

If these symptoms were being caused by a pregnancy, the test would be positive. 6 home tests plus a negative test at the doctor's office means you can relax - you're not pregnant.

Your breasts being larger and tender could be caused by hormone fluctuations.

There's actually quite a few sites with woman claiming they never had a positive pregnancy test till they had a blood test. Also some claiming that not until after 6 weeks did they get a positive rare yes but it does happen and as I claimed in the post above yours. I did admit I wasn't doubtfully pregnant Smile

You would not believe how much I have researched this topic! Primarily because I am in the same boat as a lot of other women- and there are very few that post anything after their results are positive, and how far along they were when they finally found out. It is true, some women do not pick up the hcg hormone on their tests until later, and I have even read where some never pick it up, and the only thing that does is the ultrasound! So I am wondering if you ever started your period??? I know this was posted 2 mos ago, but I am now trying to find answers, and was just wondering?!

Thx
