Q: pregnant or pill side effect?

my bf & i have decided to try for a baby & we're so excited about the prospect of becoming parents. i stopped taking my pill from saturday 18th april (although i had taken a couple of pills the week before slightly late) & started having some light bleeding on tuesday 21st until today, along with feeling a little nauesea. we've had sex about 3 or 4 times over the last 2 weeks. i was wondering if this is just a side effect from stopping the pill or if there is a chance i may be pregnant?

i think it is a side effect. you stopped on the 18th, but today is the 25th. i dont think that would be enough time for you to really become pregnant, unless you stopped the pill midcycle maybe and you ended up ovulating? your most fertile while ovulating, so i cant say for sure if its pregnant or side effects. i suggest going out to buy an ovulation test. they can be a little expensive, but they can usually tell you when your most fertile days will be to convieve.

i did stop midway through my pill packet so there is a chance but maybe i'm just wishful thinking!
