okay, so i lost my virginity on july the 16 and my boyfriend didnt use a condom. i have been usin birth control for my irregular periods, but i missed a pill a few days before we had sex. well, it says ont he paper for my pills that i can get pregnant up to seven days after missing a pill. well, like i said it was just a few days after i missed the pill i had unprotected sex. i waited until it was a day before my missed preriod to take a preg. test. well, it was negative. i still have another test..but i dont wanna take it just yet, cause they say the longer you wait the more accurate it would be.
well, my period was late by 2 days and im still bleeding. im not sure if im pregnant or not, and im really worried cause i've been readin about pregnancy problems for over 2 weeks now. im so confused. i just need some advice from some mothers who might know what is going on. i would go to my mom, but she isnt understanding, and she would kill me. i'd really appreciate it. You are more than likely NOT pregnant but you need to to the doctor to find out for sure. It could be something far more serious, but it is probably just your monthly gift.

In the future, please always use condoms also. Guys will complain about it, but for you own health and safety, these are necessary! You can get them at any drug store or planned parenthood clinic near you.

It does not sound as if you are pregnant. Your period was late, but you still had it. Continue taking your birth control pills as prescribed.

Take the pregnancy test first thing in the morning, the concentration of any pregnancy hormones your body would have would be higher then. But expect it to be negative.

Good luck!

Missing a pill can also cause a late period.. If you are worried though I know you get in the mood but back up BC or atleast dont forget a pill..if you do have trouble with that try alternative methods like the nuva ring.. or a 5 yr shot... look into options you dont need to take every day!
