In fact, this question is really about what it could actually be.
I'm 19, and still a virgin in the sense that my hymen hasn't been broken. My boyfriend and I simply fool around, touching and stuff sometimes. And never have we done that fully naked, I always wear at least panties.

The thing is, I had my last period March 21, and I am usually regular with a full cycle lasting 31 days. Now, 24 days later, April 14, I started to get brown blood, very little. I wasn't sure what it was, but later that day, it turned to fresh and red. Then back to brown in the evening Confused Well, the next day, I started to get a bit heavier in bleeding, enough to make me think I may be getting my period, but also little enough to make my remember that I usually get alot heavier periods. Also, my periods are usually very painful with extreme cramps and I just feel horrible. This time, its only light cramps, I got a slight back ache for a couple of hours, and I feel fairly tired and under the weather. Today, it's still going for now (April 16). Still just kind of heavy, but not as heavy as usual. Now, there are a few things to make mention of: me and my boyfriend were fooling around, as I stated at the start, on March 27 (6 days after my last period) and again a couple days after that. Nothing intense, just fooling around and touching. Also, this month was fairly wierd for me because I got a fairly serious cold on the 9th, a week ago, and it lasted for a few days, keeping me in bed the whole time. Also something to mention is that starting a week ago, I have been weening myself off of antidepresant pills, taking one every two days now instead of everyday.

I haven't the slightest clue what is actually going on, because if it is my period, it is very light, and along with that, this month has been eventful, but not really stressful. If anyone can help me clear this up, it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance, CautiousTeen

There is absolutely 0% chance of you being pregnant. Pregnancy can only occur when semen enters the vagina. Most likely, your period is just lighter either due to sickness, medication changes, stress, or just because! Even if a woman's period is normally like clockwork, it can often change or be thrown off some months for no real reason.

Thank you
Thank you for the response. I wasn't really that worried, because I know how baby's are made >.<... but I know I hear all the time people saying that they heard of others getting pregnant from touching each other, without any penetration. But that seems so unlikely, and also, being a virgin, it would seem like the hymen provides some sort of barricade.

Anyways, thanks for the answer, if anyone else has anything to add, please go ahead, as I would be glad to hear what people might have to say.

Thank you very much, CautiousTeen

The hymen does not provide any protection from pregnancy. It is just a bit of skin, there is no way it could prevent a person from becoming pregnant.

Unless sperm is being put into your vagina, you are not at risk for pregnancy.

Ah okay, so perhaps I am not the most versed in this subject Razz But ya, we were touching each other, yes, but there was no direct contact of his sperm anywhere near my vagina (on my belly was the closest).

To update, now today, it has gotten heavier, to as heavy as it usually is during my period. No pain though, although how it usually works for me is, first day, lots of pain, lots of blood, second day, lots of blood, third day, less blood, then done. So, I suppose this is day two, so I shouldn't expect any pain. But that means the first day was kind of off.

I am truly sorry if I seem silly for asking questions about this. I know I am not very experienced or anything, but I still have this bad tendency to worry about these kinds of things.

Thank you for all the support, CautiousTeen
