Q: Pregnant or kidney infection?

I have recently tested positive for 3 home pregnancy tests. However, my lower back hurts near the kidney area and I have read that blood in the urine from a kidney infection can trigger a false positive on a pregnancy test. My question is, Question , is the reverse true? If I were to buy and use a UTI test strip, could pregnancy cause a false positive on this test? I have consulted several UTI home test manufacturer's website and can find no answer for this.

To be absolute certain, get a blood test to either rule out or confirm a pregnancy.

With pain and blood in your urine you may indeed have an infection.

You could have both or just one of the above.

I am intending to get blood work done, but I was hoping for a firmer idea of things before the clinics open on monday.
