WOW i can relate to all of you. I am 26 and my son # 2 is almost 4 so after that i got the IUD mirena. I always had irregular periods sometimes only 3 days the most if even at all for the first and second year no bleeding i still was moody tho. Till this past month i bled for almost 3 weeks and now it stopped my sex drive has been really low and its causing problems with my marriage. last night i started getting that sick feeling i couldnt eat i thought it was just indigestion or something. Then came on the cramps so bad i was in terrible pain that i was in tears and it still continued today! please any advice i need it and open to all feedback!
Thanks! Crying or Very sad doctor

Hi,
Welcome to ehealthforum,
The symptoms that you describe could be attributed to Mirena use or even pregnancy. It is difficult to comment on exact cause without examining you and going ahead with the further evaluation. If you suspect chances of pregnancy you should consider visiting your doctor/gynecologist for examination (to confirm pregnancy related changes/signs in body) and blood/serum HCG level test (to confirm/rule out pregnancy accurately). If pregnancy gets ruled out, further evaluation would be needed to look for the underlying cause for the symptoms that you describe. Treatment as needed (based on examination findings and investigations results) would be started to help you. Take adequate rest. Drink plenty of water. Be in regular monitoring and follow-up with your treating doctor/gynecologist and report any new/abnormal symptoms immediately. Maintain healthy diet and lifestyle.
Take care.

thank you for replying and i go thursday to the ob/gyn so im curious what they are going to say. i find it so weird to all of a sudden just have these symptoms now instead of few years ago. my friend had to get the iud taken out bc she went through depression, but i never had any problems at all with it. wish me luck!
