Well i guess we could start with the background information. I am on birth control, i am on the nuva ring. My partner and I do not use a condom, but we do pull out. I had forgotten to put my ring back in twice, each time for a few days (about two). I have had sore breats to the point where i dont want to where a bra for about two weeks they are swollen. I have had nausea havent really vomited though. My appitite has increased a ton. Upset stomach, and pain. My last period was June 28th. I am very regular and flow pretty heavy. I was spotting for about four days, it was brownish and mucusy looking, wasnt enough to show in my underwear only when i wipped. I was diagnosed with gall stones last week. I didnt know if that could offset my period or not. Oh and my stomach has had this like "full" sinsation, and im extrememly exhausted, and heartburn. Not sure what symptoms are from what... Any oppinions would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you so much!

Have you taken a home pregnancy test yet?
It's the only way to know for sure.

No not yet. My partner wants me to wait. And if the gall stones could off set my period i wasnt going to take one.

anything is possible, even if you used the ring 100% correctly you could still be pregnant..the only way to know is to take a test

Gallstones would have nothing to do with your period. Take a test.

I don't think gallstones affects your periods.

It would depend on when you had a mix up with your birth control and when you had sex for whether or not thoes tests are accurate. You may want to test again if the tests were done anywhere before two weeks after you had sex.

Why does he want you to wait? Go to a Wal-Mart supercenter and buy the pregnancy test now - then you can quit worrying. They are 99.9% accurate (my doctor told me that)! Why keep wondering when you could know in the morning?

well i thought i had started my period. it was just the SLIGHTEST little bit of pink. almost to the point where i was questioning if it was there in with the brown when i wiped (again only enough when i wiped) and now it seems it all has stoped. was that my period? or could i still be pregnant?

It's possible, yes.

I've never experienced it and from what I've heard the color and consistency can vary considerably from case to case.

There are tons of possibilities that would end with you being either pregnant or not pregnant and the only thing at this point that will be able to separate them is a test.

well i took a test and it came back negative. as well i think i started my period. (still not sure, although it is looking like i am) it is now all redish/pink (normal period color) and now enough to be seen in my underwear. should i still be worried or do you think i am in the clear now? i am having surgery next week and if there is a chance im pregnant i dont want to have the surgery.

I'd think you're good.
If you're still worried then take another test in the morning or wait another few days and test that morning.

Nuva ring is moving around too much with me? Should it fall down????Hmmmm, For anyone on here not getting periods and is used to getting a period with Birth Control, I would suggest the blood test. Cause I've been on YAZ, and NuvaRIng, and my periods were always consistent. I love the Nuva ring, cause I dont have to worry about the daily pill and Yaz was giving me migraines. Been On Nuvaring since July 09, but going to try Implanon, bcz for some reason the damn Nuvarin tries to slid down my uterus when I sit to long. Any one else had this issue?? Its super aggrevating.
