Pregnant on iud ?

Hi my sister got pregnant with twins when she had an IUD. I myself got pregnant using the ortho-evra patch. I thought is was impossible to get pregnant when using it correctly but my doctor told me and my sister in both cases, the 1% went through. I don't know maybe we are just super-fertile. But take a pregnancy test or go to the doctor just to be on the safe side. Sometimes Birth control can mess with your cycle.

In medicine, theres not always a clear cut situation where the doctor will give you 100% assurance, but with everything be equal, an expected result will be achieved together with joint efforts of the doctor and corporation of the patients

there is that 1% chance I guess. But from what I have read..you usually get pregnant because it was positioned wrong or was dislodged
