ok, im about seven months along and i have genital warts, it was confirmed at my last doctor vist that i had them and he did a biopsey to see if they were cancerous. however the warts have been bleeding, not very much but some of them, and lately its gotten a little worse. really worried, is my baby at risk, or is this normal for warts? i'm definatly going to ask my doc but thought help here would be easier to understand, his accent gets bad when he gets frustrated explaining stuff to me.

I dont know the answer to this but can understand your worry. Have they planned a caesarean? I think your best bet is to call a GUM clinic and ask to chat to the health advisor there as I imagine they would have the relevant info for you. Good luck and hope it all goes ok.

Sweetie you do realize that HPV is a STD? Here is a website that might help you. (http://www.ashastd.org ) Make sure you refrain from sexual intercourse. I had to research what treatment could be used and I am afraid I do not see much help right now. Laser treatment, but your doctor needs to decide if that is the best route? I did read where you can have a vaginal birth but I wouldn't think that would be very wise? That is just my opinion. I wish you the best of luck.

Generally, the sexual transmitted disease is caused by some kind of virus such as Human Papilloma Virus (HPV) and so on.There’s a possibility that during childbirth, the genital HPV virus may infect your newborn baby. In other cases, it can lead to severe problems during childbirth. Also, there is a possibility of occurring vaginal bleeding because of this genital wart.
