My best friend is 18 and desperatly wanted to become pregnant but her boyfriend didnt. She says that a few weeks ago her boyfriend ejaculated in her mouth, she then spat it into a cup and 10 mintutes later inseminated herself with the ejaculate. She says she is now pregnant! I dont want to call her a lyer but this seems impossible as I thought salyva killed sperm.

She sat with it in her mouth for 10 minutes? Ew..
I guess they don't talk much then.

Saliva does have a negative effect on sperm which makes this seem unlikely.

she didn't say she sat with it in her mouth for 10 minutes Maddie34, she said "she then spat it into a cup and 10 minutes later inseminated herself"

Scary as this situation is, wrong as it is, I know of two people who got pregnant this way. They were both very young girls in my high school. It can happen and sperm CAN live in saliva for a good amount of time. Your friend may be pregnant, but this is a very deceptive way of becoming pregnant. It is entrapment and very wrong. She needs to tell her boyfriend what she did.
