First of all, make sure that an abortion is not just what you want. It has to be what she wants too. It is a very scary time, but whatever the two of you decide together you can make it work. You can have an abortion, do adoption, or raise the baby.

Unfortunately, sometimes condoms fail. The pull out method is not a method. There can be semen in precum that can get a girl pregnant. A lot of women fall pregnant this way, and it should not be used as a method in the future.

I would talk it out with your girlfriend exactly what you plan to do, and the two of you can go to a trusted adult together to talk about your decision. If you end up deciding on abortion, you should talk to a trusted adult together if need be. She can also go to Planned Parenthood in your area if you have one. I believe they don't need parental consent if you are worried about it.

Anyways, her parents CAN'T make you keep the baby if the two of you don't want it. It would be against the law. Your girlfriend is pregnant, so it is her decision. I know it's hard, but I'm sure the two of you will make the right decision for you both.

we're from Ohio, and i told my parents today and a close older friend and they said go to the doctor to know for sure, so shes going to planned parenthood in the morning to get it figured out. Its a real scary time now, neither of us are ready to handle a child, but if she is really pregnant from how we're talking we will raise it. I don't think i could put him for adoption because i wouldn't want him what happened to my parents when he gets older. Im really hoping shes not...

Planned parenthood is the best place she can go, they will let her know all her choices(inform her of all the pros and cons) but let her decided, if she chooses to have an abortion than they will provide the information necessary as well.

ok now im confused..... yesterday she took a pregnancy test and comes up positive, then later on that same day she takes another one from the same package and it doesnt even work. Then today she took another one this morning when she woke up and it was negative. Can someone tell me whats going on?

Did she read the test within the time frame? Pregnancy tests are considered invalid after, I think, 10 minutes. An evaporation line can appear, which can be mistaken for a positive result.

Have her go to a pregnancy testing center. They will test her for free. All she'll have to do is pee in a cup - they'll do the rest. Or she can request a blood test from her doctor.

it was one of those digital tests that says "pregnant" or "not pregnant" and she took that test around 3:35 and it showed up "pregnant" and she freaked out right away. Then around 6:30 when she came to my house she took the same pregnancy test since two came in that box, and she peed on it and it was loading or whatever, and nothing came up at all. We even checked 5 minutes after and then again 20 minutes after and nothing came up on the second one. My mom thinks it was a old or damaged tests. Then the following morning (Today) as soon as she woke up she took another one which was a different test and it was negative. Shes seeing her doctor next week for BC and shes going to ask him for a pregnancy test also. As of now shes about 5 weeks late but she has irregular periods. So im just totaly confused if she is or not cuz i know the hormones would show up if she was.

It sounds like not pregnant. Make sure she talks to the doctor about it at her appointment.

Pregnancy tests are only meant to be read in a certain time frame. I believe it is within 10 minutes or something - the directions will be on the test. If a test is read after the fact, they can be false positives.

she said shes going to mention it next week when she goes, ill tell you guys on the outcome if she really is pregnant or not. we talked it over and if she really is we're going to raise it, we both of jobs, it will be hard but idk if i could put her through abortion or put my child for adoption and i think we're really in love and we can do it. but thanks for the help guys, i really appreciate it. ill let everyone know soon as possible

That's amazing, illusions. I just went through my own freak out and had to ask myself all the same questions....abortion? adoption? raising it? I'd like to say we'd stick it out and have it on our own but I don't know. Well, god has blessed me with another chance! My girlfriend went to the doctors today after 5 weeks late, 4 negative tests and 1 positive and had a test at the doctors and came up negative. Its been a very stressful month and it came to a good end. I want to thank everyone for the support, and i would like to give advice to others to always use a condom, be responsible and be careful of what you do and the choices you make. One thing that might help in the future...

...try spermicidal condoms. They are lubricated with spermicide (it detaches the sperm head from the tail...they can't swim anywhere!) and can kill sperm even after you've had a little bit of sex before hand.

Be careful though- some women have a negative reaction to it. I know that if I use two in a session (I know, my boyf and I are animals! ), I have heavy irritation.

The new thing is being on some type of hormonal bc plus a condom. That isn't 100%, but it's pretty darn good.
