i'm sorry to hear that monika...

the problem with your situation is that all it takes is one sperm to inpregnate you. don't freak out about it though, let's talk about where you are in your cycle. maybe there's not too much to worry about.

when did you start/finish your last period?

also, not to be critical or judgemental in any way, but do you have a handle on how to avoid this situation in the future? we could possibly help you there as well.

the biggest single thing you can do though is not to get too worked up about it right now. let's just see what your cycle looks like and we'll help you figure this out.

You can take Plan B up to 120 hours after sex, though its better to take it within the first 72 hours-- the sooner, the better!

Plan B is a two dose pill you take in a last attempt to prevent pregnancy and works kinda like birth control pills only its for emergencies.

Your profile says you're 18, so you won't need a prescription. You can get it at most pharmacies.

Let me know if you have any questions, and good luck!

**Edited because I forgot to put in a link for more information Wink

No, the bath does absolutely nothing-- most especially because he finished inside you.

The pill is called Plan B, its an emergency contraceptive.

A hot bath will not prevent pregnancy.

Go get Plan B to protect yourself this time, and please use condoms in the future.

Did you get Plan B and take it yet?

I mean, this situation is exactly what its for and you've only got another a few days until it won't work. After that then there's nothing you can do.

You're 18, you can just go to Target or Walgreens to get it.

Taking is asap is really important.

It has some junky side effects, but because you took it within 72 hours then it will be about 85% effective.

Test around when you are expecting your period Smile

That's normal for Plan B-- you're not pregnant! Smile

It's going to take your cycle around another 3 months to get back on track. You can probably expect some irregular spotting/bleeding for awhile, so that means your periods may be a little crazy and spotting in between periods is normal.

Have you considered birth control pills? It can help regulate things sooner and you won't have to worry about this sort of thing again.
