Q: pregnant 30 days after abortion?

Hi
I had an abortion on july the 8th and I was expecting my period this month of august, i've been having cramps for a week now. I took the pregnancy test and it shows that am still pregnant and i called the clinic and they told me that the hormone is probably still in my urine. Am worried and i don't know what to do. HELP!!!

It's been 5wks, there's been woman who took tests 3wks after and they were negative. Chances are you are pregnant again.

Is it a strong positive or a faint one? I believe it can take up to 6 weeks or so for the hormone to disappear so this could explain the result.

You need to go back to the clinic and have an ultrasound.
